Workshop Information

This music-making workshop is suitable to all young people from 9 -16 years of age. Instrumentalists, singers as well as NON-music players are welcome. Note. Ability on an instrument is NOT a requirement to attend.

Workshop Dates, Times and Location

The workshop runs over 5 weekday mornings, 2 - 6 April 2012 (first week of the Easter school holidays). Each day starts at 10am prompt and finishes at 12.30pm and will be held at Caithness Horizons, Thurso.

Scales, Sails & Surf Concert

The focus of the workshop is to perform the developed music-making at an afternoon Concert on Saturday 7 April 2012 at Caithness Horizons. This forms part of the Gillie Mor and Wave North festival programme of events at the museum.

Please Bring

Any instruments you play (or wish to play), snacks and bottled water for each attended morning. Please also be sure your instrument is in good working order. A full range of percussion instruments will be provided.
